Likeable type who knuckled down well to edge out a useful yardstick at Windsor last time; had the right horses in behind too so that looks good form; up 2lb so no reason why he won’t follow up here with Cieren Fallon booked for the ride.
We’ve not had a great deal of luck for the NAP lately so hopefully we can get back to winning ways today. STEALTH FIGHTER showed a really likeable attitude to come out on top last time and I think he is a 4yo to stick with right now. Young Cieren Fallon is riding really well too which is another notable positive. Victory Chime and Mr Scaramanga will make the selection work but I think he’ll have too much in the closing stages. The 6/4 on offer looks very generous as I can see this going off a lot shorter.

Cartmel 2.40 What Will Be (6/4)
Encouraging debut over hurdles when second at Market Rasen in June; built on that to get off the mark at Stratford and again ran when under a penalty when third at Market Rasen; this looks a good bit of placing and should prove hard to beat.
We head to Cartmel for Monday’s Next Best and stick with the Champion Jockey Dicky Johnson and WHAT WILL BE for Olly Murphy. If he runs up to that level of form that saw him off the mark over hurdles at Stratford in July then he should take a bit of beating. Grey Girly is a filly that should do better in time but she was hardly convincing at Roscommon and looks one to avoid right now. Lucou is probably the main danger.
