NAP – Best selection of the day

Ripon 3.00 World Title (6/5)

Useful colt who shaped with promise when midfield on debut at Haydock and duly stepped up on that to get off the mark at Beverley; ran well again when third to a nice horse at Brighton and open to further improvement now handicapping stepping up to a mile for the first time.

It’s been a tough run for the NAP so fingers crossed we can bounce back with a winner this afternoon. We head to Ripon and WORLD TITLE looks to have obvious claims here. He is clearly talented and should appreciate tackling a mile for the first time now handicapping off a mark of 81. His trainer continues to fire in the winners and Danny Tudhope has been in good form over the last week or so after hitting a bit of a slump. It wouldn’t surprise me if he sent him forward here and tried to dictate. G For Gabrial is the danger as the betting suggests.

NB – Second best selection of the day

Musselburgh 5.00 Rosardo Senorita (6/4)

Caught the eye on debut with the penny dropping late; stayed on nicely into a never nearer third; should know a lot more now and likely to go close granted usual improvement; easily the one to beat here.

We didn’t have much luck yesterday with both the NAP and NB finishing second. We’re looking to get back on track today and ROSARDO SENORITA makes plenty of appeal at Musselburgh for trainer Rae Guest. She looked a filly with considerable ability running on strongly for third on debut and should prove to be better than these. Dancing Leopard is probably the one to chase her home with this longer trip a positive.
