Ascot 2.05 Master Debonair (13/8)
Big strong looking sort who did little wrong when second on hurdles debut at Cheltenham last month; arguably had the strongest bumper form on offer beating Thyme Hill; improvement to come and looks one to keep firmly on side.
There’s a good card at Ascot on Friday and that’s where we head for our Daily NAP. Colin Tizzard was reportedly very pleased with MASTER DEBONAIR following his debut second over hurdles and with improvement to come he is taken to go one better. He is a big strong horse and might just have needed it following 203 days off the track coupled with his lack of experience. He travelled well and just found the gutsy Heaven Help Us too strong in the closing stages. The pair pulled clear from Fred (who also runs on the card) and Getariver who has since won well and given the form a boost.

Ffos Las 2.15 Jack Valentine (7/4)
Likeable type who confirmed debut promise to make every yard a winning one and win a bumper in soft ground at Uttoxeter earlier this month; bred to do even better now tackling further over obstacles and taken to gallop these into submission for a yard beginning to hit form.
Toughed it out on debut for Venetia Williams to make all the running at Uttoxeter in a bumper and JACK VALENTINE is expected to improve now tackling hurdles stepping up in trip. Venetia Williams does well at this time of year when the mud is flying and this improving youngster looks worth keeping on side. He showed a good attitude last time and that should serve him well now sent over obstacles. Leroy Brown ran respectably when third at Stratford and looks the one most likely to trouble the selection.
