Headed late on in a handicap last time but beaten just a length in this grade prior to that having been crowded at the first; sure to improve on previous displays and has an ideal pitch in Trap 2 here so really should be winning; Salacres Susie probably just about the main threat on his inside.

BURGHEAD FRANBY (6/5) ADD TO SLIP

Serious early gears and could be away and gone here; should improve for that debut run and hopefully be too far clear to be reeled in; Ashgrove Raven is ideally berthed in Trap 1 and finishes well so is definitely one to keep an eye on as is Talbots Inch who will like having a target to aim at if it hangs around.

SWIFT FERDIA (6/4) ADD TO SLIP

Useful type who hasn’t had a great deal of luck lately; can be slowly away but if he does manage to trap will be extremely hard to beat; Churchill Holly will try and put the pace to the race so looks a threat as does Piemans King who needs to bounce back but would be involved if doing so; Trap 5 is a confident selection though.

REDEYE MELODY (1/1) ADD TO SLIP

Should be hitting the line strong tonight and despite failing to win in 7 starts this looks a really good opportunity and it will be disappointing if she doesn’t go through with it; Dorando Double inside probably looks the main threat as she didn’t have much luck last time and this should play out better for her albeit possibly always playing second-fiddle.

HONOUR CALYPSO (11/10) ADD TO SLIP

Ran well when beating Townside Meteor in a lower grade 9 days ago; she looks to have a big chance of leading all the way and that’s reflected in her short price-tag; Sybarite is definitely a danger on all known form and Brandy Express is the other one I expect to be involved for the tricast.
