Useful mare who has won twice over this trip under similar conditions; runner-up last three starts but doing little wrong in defeat and this looks a good opportunity to go one better; conceded first run latest but ran on really well to close all the way to the line.
I’m happy to give CAT’S ASTRAY another chance here. She has been running consistently well and this looks her best chance for a while to get her head back in front. She ran on well once seeing daylight last time but the winner Trixie’s Time had got first run and held on gamely. There isn’t a great deal of pace on here but I guess that means she shouldn’t get too far back and with usual luck in running looks sure to go close. Palace Two Step is the obvious danger beaten just a neck by a deep closer when last seen.

Big eye-catcher dropping in grade on debut for Anthony Granitz; made a winning debut on dirt and lightly raced since; this her easiest assignment to date so expecting a big show; notably strong in the betting also looks significant.
We head to Tampa Bay for our second tracker horse of the night and FIELD LETTERS looks a strong win bet in this grade having contested tougher races in just a handful of starts to date. She definitely possesses ability as shown when making a winning debut. Things haven’t quite gone to plan since but this is much easier and her class is taken to shine through. The fact she has been well backed already shows connections are confident of a big run and I think she’s one to keep on the right side of. Premier Justice is the danger.
