Race 7 Will Rogers Downs 10.15 Sweet Mary M (5/2)
Improving filly who impressed on her first look around here showing bright early speed to lead them and make all the running; high-cruising speed should get a lot of these in trouble and hit the line strong; has plenty of potential.
The US NAP landed late last night so we’re eyeing up a double this evening and SWEET MARY M is an extremely confident selection. She is a promising filly and I was really impressed with how easily she won over track and trip last month. With the promise of more to come she is taken to see off this bunch. I’ve got no doubt she’ll go forward and be too quick for Long Ride Home. Her cruising speed should get these off the bridle and the way she asserted again near the finish last time was very eye-catching.

Race 6 Will Rogers Downs 9.45 Gambler (11/4)
Likeable colt who won convincingly on penultimate start before finishing a luckless fourth here last time; he was a touch slowly away and saw little daylight early hating the kickback before running on well down the wide outside; should bounce back.
Everything went wrong for GAMBLER on his last start and I’m more than happy to forgive him that effort. He likes to get on the speed and dominate so once he broke a touch slow last time he was always playing catchup. He hated the kickback but did well to angle wide off the final bend before closing all the way to the line. He is lightly raced and I’m sure is still improving. This is a good race but I’m confident we haven’t seen the best of him yet so if he gets away on terms he is a danger to all. Class dropper Spendaholic feared most.
