TRUMP ME LANDED THE AUSSIE NAP ON TUESDAY! WE HEAD TO CANTERBURY ON WEDNESDAY!
Race 4 Canterbury 5.35 Flinders (6/4)
A lot to like about the way he knuckled down to win gamely over a mile at Warwick Farm earlier this month, handling deep ground; back up in trip now and could kick on now with that first win under his belt; open to further improvement and hard to beat.
Winning form should count for plenty here so FLINDERS is a strong fancy to follow up for Chris Waller. He toughed it out over a trip probably short of his optimum at Warwick Farm when last seen and with this extra yardage in his favour and further improvement to come he should be up to justifying favouritism here under James McDonald. Miyake is equally as unexposed and looks the one to put up the most resistance.

Race 6 Doomben 5.18 Pull Anchor (7/4)
Opened her account here over 1200m in January; bounce back from a blip at Eagle Farm to finish runner-up over track and trip coming from way back before filling the same position over shorter last time; low gate now and obvious chance of going one better.
This looks a great chance for PULL ANCHOR to return to the winners enclosure. She was briefly denied a run before finishing well for second here last time, beaten less than two lengths at the line. She is just a 3yo so should be open to improvement and this track clearly suits her well. The step back up to this trip is also a positive and there’s a lot to like. Staying Black went close last time and gets blinkers again so is respected and Iamican is capable of better so is also one to watch.
