THE US NAP RUNS IN RACE 6 AT GULFSTREAM ON THURSDAY NIGHT!
Race 6 Gulfstream 8.43 Untitled (8/11)
Classy colt who made a striking impression winning by 11 lengths on debut over 6f here in December last year; far from disgraced in defeat since and this looks a glaring opportunity for him to get back to winning ways.
It’s hard to get away from UNTITLED here for Mark Casse and Luis Saez. He is a very promising colt and he has been highly tried since his impressive debut win. He stands out here and should prove too strong for the likes of No Getting Over Me and Roman Empire. He is probably the best horse in the race anyway but there is reason to think the favourite will get a soft lead too so it’s hard to pick holes in him. Hopefully Saez keeps it simple bounces him out and makes all comfortably.

Race 7 Gulfstream 9.15 Phat Man (6/4)
Finished a very creditable second in the Grade 2 Gulfstream Park Mile Stakes here in February and stands out as the most likely winner on that piece of form; won a Grade 3 prior to that so couldn’t be in better form right now; obvious chance.
We stick at Gulfstream for tonight’s second best bet and PHAT MAN is hard to get away from here. He won a Grade 3 over track and trip before running well in the Gulfstream Park Mile Stakes in February. Dylan Davis has been riding well and he’ll look to get him settled before coming through with a sustained challenge. Dr Edgar ran well in a good race behind Social Paranoia last time and is respected. He looks the main danger to the selection but Morocco is also respected.
