CUPID’S BOW LANDED THE NAP ON THURSDAY MORNING AND WE HEAD TO GOLD COAST ON FRIDAY!
Race 6 Gold Coast 5.34 Peppi La Few (6/5)
Won his last three now including over track and trip the last twice; improving all the time and hard to fault his progress; should ping the lids and be too good again granted usual luck in running; likely to be a warm order.
Cupid’s Bow got the Aussie NAP back firing on Thursday so we’ll be looking to double up on Friday morning and head to Gold Coast where course regular PEPPI LA FEW will be looking to make it four wins in a row. He is thoroughly likeable and it would take a brave man to go against. He is so fast away and if he shows that speed again will be hard to catch. Bold Warrior and Parko are the two likely to chase him home but I’ll be surprised if anything proves fast enough to stop him.

Race 2 Port Macquarie 4.10 The Premier (5/4)
Unexposed 4yo who ran his best race to date chasing home Mudgegonga to finish second at Scone back off eight months off the track; looks sure to improve for that run and has plenty in favour as he looks to go one better; big chance.
Having caught the eye back from a lengthy layoff THE PREMIER is a confident selection to come out on top in Race 2 at Port Macquarie on Friday morning. He looks a big improver in this field and has been found a good opportunity to shed the maiden-tag. Chilli Chilli is a filly capable of better too so she should put up the most resistance. Crazeelil is consistent having finished second twice here before running well again when third at Coffs Harbour last time. She’s also entitled to get involved.
