It was a great night last night as both Notebooks did the business landing us a nice double. We’ll be looking to follow up on Saturday night and kick off early at Oaklawn Park. IMPLICATOR really impressed with how he swept home from out the clouds to finish second to Sunday Sermon over track and trip last month and with further progress on the cards looks a good bet to open his account at just the fourth time of asking. Jimmie T finishing behind him last time and rates the biggest threat again here.

Race 7 Tampa Bay Downs 8.30 Got The Gist (2/1)
Landed back-to-back wins before being upped in grade at Belmont; back to form when second over a mile in June and looked to need the run back from 281 days off when down the field here; fitter now and this much easier so should prove too good.
This looks a good opportunity for GOT THE GIST to get her head back in front. She is a useful mare and she has proved in the past that she needs her first run back so given she would have tightened up for that coupled with an ease in grade she is likely to be a warm order tonight. She likes to track the pace through but it wouldn’t surprise me if Samy Camacho did send her forward as there doesn’t look much speed on. At a big price Kwaina should go well and I’m backing her to hit the frame as a saver.
