Useful type who has nine career wins to his name; plenty went wrong when disappointing at Ascot last time but was a gutsy winner here before that, keeping on well; needs things to fall right over this trip but big chance if they do and should go close.
Trainer Stephen Wolfe has the first two in the betting here and I think MR PAGO is the one to beat under Brodie Kirby. He won here on his penultimate start and that form gives him a leading chance. He obviously disappointed at Ascot last time but I’m happy to forgive him that and if he bounces back he is the one they all have to pass. Stablemate Mass Effect has a squeak and Corporate Larrikin certainly isn’t out of it entirely either. I expect the selection to be prominent and track the pace through before pouncing.

Likeable mare who has won two of her last three; did it well at Murwillumbah two starts back before going down narrowly at Ballina last time; she has a low gate today so should get on the speed and the shorter trip is no issue; obvious shout.
There looks to be plenty going for ANTILIA here and she should prove hard to pass under Rory Hutchings. She couldn’t be in better form having won two of her last three and it’s no surprise to see her prominent in the market. Dixie is definitely the danger and I fancy the pair to battle it out. The latter had a luckless run when sent off fav last time and should do better today. Kijito is consistent type but you’d think he would need more to trouble the front two in the betting.
