With Wangaratta abandoned we have a replacement Notebook for you running at Wagga in the shape of JODHPUR. He has only raced eight times winning twice but ran a big race when second here last time and back up to 1400m looks poised to go close. He was just given a bit too much to do last time so if he gets going sooner over this extra trip he should take the beating. Shelby Sixtysix is improving and made the breakthrough here last time so is respected. Bell’s Innocent also comes into the reckoning.

Likeable type who made the breakthrough here earlier this month when a well supported favourite; that was his first start for three months so sure to improve physically; this doesn’t look to have too much strength in depth so good chance of following up.
We head to Pakenham on Thursday morning for our second Aussie tracker horse and OFFICE JIM looks worth sticking with after his maiden win. That was his first run since December so he should tighten up plenty. This looks very winnable and I think he has a leading chance again. It won’t surprise me if he’s sent off a red-hot favourite. Quail Hollow is definitely a danger having scored at Sandown on return despite being hampered. He should have more to offer. Mr Stylish needs further ideally but is also respected.
