The Notebook has fired in four winners in the last three days so we head into Friday with confident riding high. STARSHIP BUBBA looks worth backing to go one better at Gulfstream tonight. He is a nice colt who ran a big race when only denied late on last time. He almost certainly has more to offer and this looks a great chance for him to breakthrough. Wordman is the main danger having shaped with promise in just two starts to date. I fancy the pair to battle this one out with experience likely to count for plenty.

Progressive filly who came on a bundle from her promising second on debut to win by a wide margin at Santa Anita next start; took form to a new level winning a Grade 2 on return and this looks a great chance to complete the hat-trick.
I’ll be surprised if anything manages to keep a lid on VENETIAN HARBOR here. She is a thoroughly progressive filly who has speed to burn and she should get out in front here and dominate these lot. She has been mightily impressive the last twice and is eyeing up the hat-trick now. This is competitive but her chance looks glaringly obvious to me and I’m surprised she isn’t odds-on. Swiss Skydiver is clearly improving too and did impress last time so looks the one to chase her home. British Idiom is also respected.
