Ran well in better company over this trip at Gulfstream in March, only beaten a length and a half; this looks an obvious chance for him to get back to winning ways given it’s the easiest company he’s contested for a while; obvious chance.
We hit a rare blank for the Notebook last night so are looking to put that right this evening. PROJECTED stands out here for Eddie Kenneally and Daniel Centeno. He didn’t get much of a run last time but kept on well and was only beaten narrowly. If he reproduces that sort of form here he should prove too good as this is the easiest race he has faced for a while. Power Walker scored over track and trip last time and rates the biggest danger to the selection.

Progressive filly who hasn’t looked back since debut, winning well over track and trip in March and then following up by a street here last month, galloping rivals into submission; further improvement on the cards and looks a good bet to complete the hat-trick now.
We head to Gulfstream for our second tracker of the night and the speedy BOERNE is taken to win again and complete the hat-trick. She may face a bit of competition on the lead from Velvet Crush but strictly on the figures she is quicker and I think she’ll look to dominate again. If she gets there comfortably I doubt anything will reel her in. She’ll need to keep improving but everything about that last performance suggests she’s on the upgrade so 5/2 is very appealing.
