Nice looking filly who has acquitted herself well in just three starts to date so far; improved for her debut to go close over track and trip on second start, beaten half a length; failed to fire last time but worth sticking with to bounce back here.
The tracker fired in another winner Stateside last night and we were desperately unlucky not to land the double to be honest. A stronger ride on Honesta and we would have been home and hosed. Tonight both run at Gulfstream and CAT LADY will be kicking the double off. She disappointed last time but it’s still early days with her and this doesn’t look to have too much strength in depth. If she returns to the form that saw her go close on her penultimate start she’ll go close. It’s worth having a saver on By His Grace at a big price.

Race 12 Gulfstream 11.32 Peppi The Hunter (2/1)
Ran on strongly to brush aside Dexter Road over track and trip last month and should confirm that form again here; plenty of pace on which should help him settle just in behind and hard to see anything coping with his finishing kick.
The way PEPPI THE HUNTER drew clear from Dexter Road last time was quite impressive for the grade and he looks a good bet to follow up under Roberto Alvarado tonight. He had plenty in the tank when called on so if this does turn into a slug up the straight he’ll be the one to side with. 2/1 is about right so here’s hoping for a big run! The Queens Jules had Mr Chaplin and Dexter Road trailing when winning on his penultimate start over track and trip and is a big danger even given his poor run on turf last time.
