Enough back-class to suggest she is the one to beat in this weak maiden; been contesting much stronger races than this so no surprise to see her improve on first start for David Anderson; expected to prove too strong in the closing stages.
After 16 in a row the US NAP has failed to fire the last twice but we’re working hard to get it back on track and head to Fonner Park (original NAP scratched) tonight. DIXIE CAT stands out in the opener. She is better than these and I expect her to show that this evening. She has switched barns so could improve on first start for David Anderson. She likes to come through horses but it wouldn’t surprise me if they bounced her out in front as ability-wise she is just better than these.

Race 8 Fonner Park 1.09 Witt’sdollarnight (5/4)
Useful sort who has knocked on the door the last three times, finishing runner-up on each occasion; beaten just a head last time and a reproduction of that effort should be enough to see him back to winning ways tonight under Ricardo Martinez; big chance.
I think if WITT’SDOLLARNIGHT reproduces that last run it should be enough to see these off. He’s done little wrong in defeat and deserves to go one better here. I don’t think he’ll be too far away from the pace and he should have every chance if he kicks off the turn for home. Renvyle is probably the main danger as he showed a good attitude to win by a neck here on penultimate start before never getting involved last time. If he bounces back he should be thereabouts. Medieval Medicine is another one not completely ruled out.
