Race 6 Rockhampton 5.12 Holdin’ My Own (7/4)
Talented mare who completed the hat-trick in good style earlier this month at Emerald, never far from the speed winning impressively by four lengths; won over this trip before and obvious claims of completing a four-timer.
We head to Rockhampton on Tuesday morning as we look to get the Aussie NAP back firing and the winning machine HOLDIN’ MY OWN looks a good bet to go in again for Clinton Taylor. She continues to impress and was in a different league at Emerald last time. Granted usual luck in running I think she’ll win again and 7/4 seems generous if anything. Miss De Mirage likes it here and looks a banker in terms of a place. Favourite expected to prove too strong though.

Race 3 Moe 4.30 To Her Door (15/8)
Promising filly who didn’t go unbacked on debut finishing second beaten just half a length at Bendigo; looks sure to improve for that initial effort and might have too much for the more experienced Missallure.
This looks a straight shootout between the front two in the market for me as while Spiritofthevalley showed promise last time she’ll need more against the market principals. TO HER DOOR showed plenty of promise on debut and looks up to going one better. Missallure has experience on side and has been knocking on the door but might just be bumping into one here. I expect them to finish 1-2 in a decent race for the track. The extra distance looks ideal for the selection. Wide draw but fancied to overcome it.
