Sunday’s Aussie Notebooks and Value Tip!
Here you will find our Tracker horses Down Under PLUS our Value Tip. We don’t have one everyday but only when something stands out at a price bigger than we think it should be (4/1 winner on Friday).
Notebook
OUR FIRST NOTEBOOK DOWN UNDER GOES IN RACE 7 AT IPSWICH!
Race 7 Ipswich 5.10 Tears Of Love (9/4)
Lightly raced sort who ran well back from five months off the track only edged out late at Gold Coast, beaten a length; fitter now and the step back up to this trip can help; plenty in favour and expected to get his head back in front.
Red Chase landed us a decent winner for the Aussie Tracker on Saturday and we’ll be looking to add two more on Sunday. We head to Ipswich for the first Notebook runner and TEARS OF LOVE looks sure to go close in Race 7 on the card. He ran a cracker on return and with fitness on side now over a trip he enjoys he should take plenty of stopping. Austria is plenty short in the betting as didn’t show a great deal at Gold Coast last time so is passed over. Go Darcy looks the main danger to the selection.

OUR SECOND TRACKER HORSE RUNS AT BALLARAT ON SUNDAY MORNING!
Race 7 Ballarat 7.25 Celeritate Regem (2/1)
Nice looking chestnut who justified favouritism in good style winning by a length at Horsham earlier this month; this doesn’t look to have much strength in depth so should have an obvious chance of going in again; shouldn’t be far off the pace.
We head to Ballarat for our second Tracker of the night and CELERITATE REGEM is expected to go in again. I had him down in my notes as a horse to keep an eye on depending on what company he tackled next start and given how winnable this looks he is a very confident selection to take advantage. Live Like won at Bairnsdale last time but it didn’t look an overly strong race so while he is a danger here I’m happy the favourite will have too much. St Hilarion has a good draw so also comes into the reckoning.
Tracker Double
The Tracker Double consists of both Notebook runners. Remember these are profitable to follow as singles so it’s always worth combining them as a double to maximise profit.
Value Tip
Race 9 Ipswich 6.20 Mountbatten (5/2)
Likeable type who seems to be on the improve; ran behind the right horses at Gold Coast last start and this looks easier, especially with the scratchings; expected to be bang there at the business end and worth siding with.
The Value Tip runs at Ipswich on Sunday morning in the shape of MOUNTBATTEN for Leanne McCormick. He is a nice horse who already has four career wins to his name. He ran a good race behind Soxagon last time and that sort of form gives him a leading hope here under James Orman. I expect him to be on or near the pace here as the field has cut up and the 5/2 is very appealing. Be surprising if he doesn’t at the very least go close. Bryneich is probably the danger but he’ll need to do better than at Sunshine Coast latest.
Some of our followers like to combine both Notebooks with the Value Tip so you can add that direct to your bet365 bet slip by clicking below. It pays 30/1!
