Two big runs in defeat lately beaten just a nose again last time and this looks a good chance to go one better; this easier so expected to prove too strong; good pace on so will have a target to run down as well.
We head to Golden Gate for our US NAP on Friday night and LITTLEBITAMEDAL looks the most likely winner of Race 4 on the card. There’s nothing wrong with his attitude and he was only denied a nose again last time. If he runs to that form he should get back to winning ways and make the breakthrough on this surface. Violent Behaviour has been behind the selection the last twice so looks held. Papapifas is perhaps the main danger having dotted up last time. Wouldn’t want to give him a soft lead.

Race 10 Gulfstream 9.45 Fuddled (13/8)
Likeable filly who ran a very promising race on debut over track and trip in March, beaten just a neck; closed all the way to the line too so all the better for that experience; expected to go one better now.
I’m looking forward to seeing FUDDLED out again for Safe Joseph. She finished really well once the penny dropped on debut and looks sure to improve for that. The winner First Wave looks a smart sort and I think the form will work out well going forward. The third was over 3 lengths back in third so the front pair came nicely clear. She sets a decent standard on that and with more to come gets a confident vote. She’s Just Quality also filled second on debut and probably looks the biggest threat if improving on that.
