NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE NAP HAS LANDED 4 TIMES IN THE LAST 5 DAYS! RUNS AT ROYAL ASCOT ON SATURDAY!
Royal Ascot 4.40 Who Dares Wins (7/4)
Tough dual-purpose performer who has stamina in abundance as showing when winning the Northumberland Plate at Newcastle a year ago; won a Grade 2 chase at Kempton in February; sure to go close for in-form trainer.
The NAP has been in great form lately winning 4 times in the last 5 days. Our best bet runs in the Queen Alexandra at Royal Ascot on Saturday. WHO DARES WINS looks a good bet to justify favouritism under Tom Marquand. He is versatile ground-wise and has no doubts over his stamina so won’t mind if it becomes a slog up the straight. Alan King trained the winner of the Ascot Stakes on Tuesday and had another winner in the Duke Of Edinburgh on Friday so is placing his horses to good effect. Could be another one here!
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE NEXT BEST ALSO RUNS AT ROYAL ASCOT ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON!
Royal Ascot 3.00 Wichita (5/2)
Talented colt who ran a huge race on return from 238 days off the track to finish second in the Guineas, beaten just a neck by Kameko; had Pinatubo trailing in third on that occasion and should confirm that form here.
The reports surrounding Pinatubo have been positive since his Guineas defeat but for me WICHITA looks a great bet to confirm those placings. He ran a massive race in the Guineas and was coming back at the winner Kameko in the final few strides. This sort of test looks ideal and he is a confident selection to come out on top again. Ryan Moore is back in the saddle and everything suggests he is going to take the beating. Palace Pier is also plenty talented but will need to step up again if he is to play a part in the finish.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They both run at Royal Ascot on Saturday afternoon.
