Race 2 Northam 6.12 Joyrize (11/8)
Yet to be out the frame over this trip and knocked hard on the door the last twice, finishing second and third over C&D in last two runs; more to come and should be finishing best here; big chance to make the breakthrough.
I’m expecting JOYRIZE to finally shed the maiden-tag here for Daniel and Ben Pearce. She has ran two very good races the last twice and this looks easier. She will be held up looking to swoop late and has Pike booked for the ride. This won’t take much winning so she should make the most of it. Emerald Rose is a danger but she has now gone 28 starts without a win. Like the selection Venetian Jewel remains unexposed so perhaps will put up the most resistance. Hard to recommend much else.

Race 2 Warwick 5.12 Miss Bulitz (11/8)
Ran her best race to date when beaten just a length at Dalby over 1400m, trying to make all but run down late; can step forward again from that and looks the most likely winner in this field; should prove hard to peg back.
From a low enough draw MISS BULITZ is likely to push forward and try and bag the rail. She has plenty of early dash and back slightly in trip will try and boss these I think. It looks a very good chance for her to make the breakthrough so hopefully she takes it. Reflective should strip fitter now and looks one of the dangers. Yarra Spirit has only had four runs and can do better. Good chance of hitting the frame if you forgive that last run at Ipswich. Not much to shout about regarding the rest.
