Race 6 Bendigo 6.00 Lake’s Folly (5/4)
Improving and held his form well since winning at Sale in April; third at that venue in May and then ran well when second at Morphettville last time behind a decent yardstick; handy claim and looks to have plenty in favour here.
We head to Bendigo on Friday morning for the Aussie NAP and LAKE’S FOLLY should take a bit of beating in Race 6 on the card for Anthony Freedman. I don’t think he’s been seen to best effect the last twice and definitely looks capable of more. This is winnable and it will be disappointing if he doesn’t come out on top and make it 3 wins from just 8 starts. Reine Happy has been consistent and should run into a place again. Hard to see him troubling the selection for win purposes though. Dalswinton also thereabouts.

Race 2 Nowra 3.35 Our Bellagio Miss (6/4)
Promising filly who won impressively at Goulburn before finishing second at that venue last time; inside draw a big plus here and will look to dominate; could prove hard to pass; obvious chance.
Sticking with OUR BELLAGIO MISS to make it two wins from her last three at Nowra on Friday morning. She is a decent filly who has more to offer yet. She ran well when second last time and with the inside draw can get herself back in the winners enclosure. She should push forward and I don’t think they’ll catch her. Jacquine Reward probably just edges Kiaria in terms of the biggest danger. He can improve and if he does he will be finishing well. Still think the favourite will be too good though.
