Epsom 2.25 Safe Voyage (6/5)
Smart type who won first three starts last season before performing creditably in Group 1 company; excellent second on return at Haydock, going down just a neck to subsequent Group 3 winner Space Blues; obvious chance of going one better.
Following a really promising second on return SAFE VOYAGE is a confident selection to come out on top here. He ran a cracker back from 232 days off the track going down just a neck to Space Blues and that horse has advertised the form well since winning a Group race over in France. The latter actually took this contest last year. The selection should tighten up physically for that and looks the most likely winner. Shine So Bright has been expensive to follow and is hard to recommend again. Oh This Is Us looks the main danger.

Epsom 4.15 Fooraat (11/8)
Dubai filly who overcame inexperience to make a winning debut at Newcastle last year; did well to win as was plenty keen; backed that up to win impressively on return at Chelmsford, 7 lengths clear at the line; bags of potential.
Expecting FOORAAT to remain unbeaten here. She has looked a very smart individual in two starts to date and with further improvement a distinct possibility she should make it 3-3 for Roger Varian. This better field should help her settle as they will go a truer pace and she is taken to have too much for the likes of Cloak Of Spirits and Love And Thunder. The former sets the standard back down in class so looks the danger. Hopefully the selection improves past her though and cements her claims as a smart prospect.
