Race 6 Sunshine Coast 7.10 Incheon Express (8/11)
Smart type who made a winning start bolting up by 5 lengths on debut at Ballarat; sure to improve from that initial effort and looks well placed to make it 2-2 on debut for his new yard; hard to get away from.
From a good draw this looks a perfect make-up for INCHEON EXPRESS to make it 2-2. He is a short price but that’s with good reason as he bolted up on debut. He has changed stables since but that shouldn’t inconvenience him so it will be disappointing if he doesn’t take this out. Lady Appleton is the closest rival in the betting but it’s hard to see her proving good enough to overhaul the favourite. She is consistent but lacks gears. At a price Aziz Jamil Coureur may be value to run into a place.

Race 2 Kalgoorlie 5.42 Daveedo (11/8)
Ran well when second twice before excuses last time; not had much luck but looks to have found a good opportunity with Pike up so could easily make the breakthrough now; most likely winner.
Hoping the stars align for DAVEEDO here. He hasn’t had a great deal of luck lately and this looks a good opportunity. Pike will have him well placed and a win could be imminent. Stablemate Blister In The Sun didn’t get into it on debut so better can be expected now. Looks a danger but jockey bookings suggest the selection is a leading hope. Emerald Rose is definitely a player. Shaped well last time and has the ability to get involved so may be value to hit the frame.
