THE AUSSIE NAP WON ON TUESDAY AND RUNS AT BELMONT ON WEDNESDAY!
Race 6 Belmont 8.35 Pletto (6/5)
Smart mare who looks worth keeping on side; two wins from six starts and both have come over this trip; getting better as she gains experience so expected to prove too strong here; good draw too.
The favourite PLETTO looks to have plenty in favour here. She is improving all the time and this looks easier than her latest assignment when third over track and trip. She has a better draw as will look to push forward early if all goes to plan. This lacks strength in depth and she looks the most likely winner. One Short is entitled to run well on all known form so one to keep an eye on. Might be value to hit the frame. Saturday Sun is also interesting but again just looks to be bumping into one or two here.

Race 5 Warwick Farm 6.10 Royal Banquet (13/8)
Promising gelding who has won his last three (from four starts); picked up well to score at Scone on return and no problem following up at Newcastle last time; open to further improvement and looks well placed to land the four-timer.
This is tougher but even still ROYAL BANQUET should have all angles covered. He is firmly on the upgrade and should have too many gears for main market rival Syncline. The latter has looked promising too winning his last two and does have potential going forward but the selection could be a bit special and is expected to have too much once the pair settle down to fight it out. He is versatile as to how this may pan out whereas the second fav probably needs to lead and try and dominate. It’s a good race! The fav should be too good.
