Smart horse who has won two of his last three and doesn’t look done improving yet; beat the right horse in Luvyouanytime at Toowoomba last time and with Patis on board again is hard to get away from; most likely winner.
Everything looks right for YOUNGBLOOD again here. He is improving all the time and this looks a good bit of placement for him to make it three wins from his last four. I’m quite surprised he is even money as I know he is creeping up the weights but he is getting better as well and just looks a cut above this bunch. If there is a danger then it’s probably Santarene who has a handy 2kg claim. Hard to see her overhauling the favourite but does look a clear second on all known form.

Race 6 Ballarat 6.30 Seven Castles (5/4)
Promising type who has won three times from twelve attempts; led in a stronger race than this before getting run down at Moonee Valley last time; drawn to push forward and will look to dictate here; good chance to get back to winning ways.
Hard to look past the favourite SEVEN CASTLES here for Lindsey Smith and Lachlan Neindorf. He won well at Ballarat on penultimate start and lost little in defeat against better horses last time. Good draw so will push forward and can go right on with it. Ronay also found the company too hot to handle at Flemington last time when seeking a hat-trick so looks most likely to put up some resistance to the favourite. Wind Force is consistent and shouldn’t be completely ignored either.
