Smart type who comes here with confidence riding high chasing a hat-trick of wins; always doing enough last time and still has more in the locker; previous win over C&D reads well; obvious chance.
Sticking with the in-form SERTIN here. He is clearly thriving right now winning over C&D before following up at Gold Coast. Can improve again and looks to have a major shout of bringing up the hat-trick. Remember Mary couldn’t hold off the selection last time but should be a bit fitter now so is a danger again. Still I expect the selection to pick that rival up. Beware is consistent and may be the value to run into a place. Somebody’s Girl is well drawn so has to be respected too.

Race 5 Ballarat 6.00 Our Wind Spirit (15/8)
Landed back-to-back wins before pulling up with an issue at Flemington last time; 3-3 on this surface so obvious chance if bouncing back here; expect him to be finishing strongest of all granted normal luck in-running.
We head to Ballarat in the early hours of Friday morning for our second best bet Down Under and OUR WIND SPIRIT is taken to bounce back here. He is unbeaten on this surface so has plenty going for him. He was lame last time and if back to his best should have every chance in this contest. Blood Oath is probably feared most. He has won first-up before so has that going for him. Brazen Brando is well-weighted but needs a bit more to trouble the selection.
