Race 6 Gulfstream 7.34 Kahiko (4/5)
Improving filly who has showed plenty of promise in much tougher races than this of late; denied just a neck on penultimate start over track and trip and should be tough to beat in these calmer waters; great attitude and one to keep on side.
We’re working hard to get the NAP back on track Stateside and we head to Gulfstream tonight where class dropper KAHIKO should take the beating for Todd Pletcher and Edgard Zayas. She is a filly with plenty more to come and this looks easier than what she’s been contesting lately so it will be disappointing if she can’t open her account. This track and trip plays to her strengths and she is expected to have too much. Lake Parima lacks the class edge of the fav but has been running consistently and is improving so is feared.

Race 4 Arlington 9.35 Gold Hawk (13/8)
Holds a few of these when denied just a head over track and trip last month so if running up to that level again he will be hard to beat here; likes to get settled early before launching a big challenge so should be finishing best.
He isn’t getting any younger now a 9yo but GOLD HAWK is still running up to a good enough level to take this out. He holds Orcus and Cadet Captain on that latest run so if matching that should get back in the winners enclosure. The latter is likely to take them along again so watch out for the favourite steaming home late in the day. It looks between these three so I’ll be surprised if anything else manages to launch a challenge. No reason why the selection won’t confirm that form.
