Race 3 Eagle Farm 3.38 Super Contender (10/11)
Exciting type who has won two of his three starts to date; dominant at Gold Coast last time and looks firmly on the upgrade now; likely to push forward here and can win this before going onto better things in time.
We head to Eagle Farm in the early hours of Saturday morning for the Aussie NAP and SUPER CONTENDER should be up to making it three wins from his first four starts. He really impressed last time and should prove a cut above these. It isn’t a bad race by any means and Absolut Artie is a horse I have a lot of time for but I’m siding with the potential of this lightly raced 4yo. Titanium made a winning start before finishing fourth at Sunshine Coast. Talented too so should fill the third spot.

Race 1 Caulfield 3.10 Sovereign Award (1/1)
Likeable mare who is seeking a hat-trick following two impressive wins at Sale and Moonee Valley; low gate so can push forward again and can prove dominant under Oliver; well placed to make it three in a row.
Hard to get away from SOVEREIGN AWARD here as she looks to land a hat-trick of wins. She looks too speedy for these so if she pushes forward and dominates I don’t think she’ll be pegged back. Mrs O’Malley likes to come from off the pace and should be finishing well but I fancy the selection to be away and gone by then. Moscow Red needs more on what we’ve seen but not entirely ruled out. Hard to picture anything else getting involved, market looks to have all angles covered.
