Race 10 Woodbine 10.46 Silent Causeway (5/6)
Improving filly who won by a space over 6f here on return; well held on turf but right back to her best denied a nose the last twice over track and trip most recently; more to come and looks very solid to go one better.
This looks a great opportunity for SILENT CAUSEWAY to get back to winning ways. She was a bit unlucky last time and only missed narrowly. She is turned out fairly quickly and should gain compensation tonight. Not a great deal of pace on but that could lead to a few going forward so as a result they may end up going a fair clip. Twirling Faith is the closest in the betting and she did win gamely last time but she’ll need more again to trouble the selection I think. Probably a bit big in the betting but at the same time may always be playing second fiddle. Could be worth covering the reverse forecast as a bit of insurance. A Bridge Too Far is also fairly prominent in the market but needs more to get involved at the business end.

Race 10 Gulfstream 9.48 Uncage The Cat (7/4)
Useful type who ran his best race to date when beaten just a couple of lengths into second over C&D last month; should build on that now and if he does he is a major player in this field; can track the pace before pouncing late.
We head to Gulfstream tonight for our second best bet Stateside and UNCAGE THE CAT looks a danger to all in Race 10 on the card. He ran a cracker when chasing home Bee Major last time and with further gains on the horizon he will be tough to beat here. There isn’t much strength in depth so it represents a great opportunity for the favourite. Cuy is going the right way and looks the one to put up the most resistance. Alejandro’s Team is short in the betting but hasn’t achieved much at all so needs to find more from somewhere to be a factor here. Puerto Varas is a reserve and would have to be feared if getting a run. Imperial Greatness has experience but was a long way behind the selection last time so has plenty of ground to make up.
