Wolverhampton 6.00 Anna Of Lorraine (5/6)
Likeable filly who justified strong support over 6f here last month; on the up now and obvious chance of following up off 4lb higher dropping back in trip; good bit of placement and hard to oppose.
It took ANNA OF LORRAINE a little while to get her head in front but now she has she looks the one to be on as she looks to record back-to-back wins. She did it nicely over 6f last time and the drop back to the minimum is unlikely to phase her and she has to be the most likely winner here granted usual luck in-running. Sur Mer is chasing a hat-trick and is the obvious danger under a penalty. She lacks the potential of the selection though so hopefully the favourite pulls out more where it matters. I do think the pair will finish 1-2 though and that’s reflected in the betting with it 10/1 bar. Klopp has won here before and has the hood reapplied so may be the one running on for third spot.

Windsor 3.10 Ice Station Zebra (7/4)
Good looking filly by Showcasing who has won two of her four starts running on in good style to win at Salisbury last time; testing ground ideal and a 4lb rise looks very fair given she is unexposed; the one to beat.
We head to Windsor for Monday’s second best bet and ICE STATION ZEBRA is expected to justify favouritism for Ralph Beckett and Rossa Ryan. She has won two of her first four starts and looks progressive especially in these conditions. She loves it when the mud is flying and is on the upgrade so ticks plenty of boxes off a 4lb rise. Iconic Knight is consistent and has to be feared in a race like this. He won at Chepstow in August but doesn’t have the most prolific strike rate so if the selection does step forward again as I hope he will he should have too much. Punchbowl Flyer has a bit to prove on recent evidence but his previous form was solid so he could run well at a bigger price.

The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Windsor and Wolverhampton on Monday as we look to get back on track.
