Race 7 Santa Anita 12.14 Microrithms (4/5)
Smart type who is lightly raced for his age; completed a hat-trick of wins in good style at Del Mar last time, drawing clear late; back up to 6f now but this no tougher and obvious chance of going in again.
The US NAP was back to winning ways last night as Finalist picked up well in the final 50 yards or so to get on top. We head into Friday with confidence riding high and the in-form MICRORITHMS should win again at Santa Anita. This gelding is firmly on the upgrade with four wins from his last five runs and with further improvement a distinct possibility he should have too much for his rivals. He likes to dictate so I can see him pushing forward again and setting the fractions. Surfing Star chased home the selection when third last time and is probably the one to do so again here. Pyron showed a good attitude to win at Del Mar last time but that was in a much easier even than this.

Race 10 Keeneland 11.03 Destiny’s Darling (15/8)
Probably left it too late when second at Mountaineer last time but that was a very encouraging effort and if she steps forward from that again she will prove the answer here; plenty going for her.
I thought DESTINY’S DARLING would be a bit shorter than 2/1 off the back of that latest effort. She closed in good style up the straight and was just a bit intimidated by the winner. I think the jockey could have made a move sooner but even still it was an encouraging run. Ms. Malevolence and Queen Of Verona won’t hang about here and that should help the selection get settled early in a good position before picking them off in the straight. She has the most upside in this field for me so I’m confident she is going to go close. Veiled Vixen ran well when last seen but is returning from a 337-day absence so may need the run. Shesdiamonite made a bright start but this is obviously tougher.
