Best Australian Horse Racing bets in Australia on Thursday morning
Both the NAP & NB won overnight bringing home the Daily Double at 11/2 so we’re in good form Down Under right now! Racing on Thursday morning from Cranbourne, Sapphire Coast, Gosford and Northam.
Alongside our best bets we have race-by-race bets below the main bets if you want to know what we fancy on the rest of the cards (just scroll right down to the bottom).
NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) WON OVERNIGHT AND IS ON A HAT-TRICK NOW! RUNS AT SAPPHIRE COAST!
Race 6 Sapphire Coast 5.50 Rubaiya (1/1)
Yet to get off the mark but done little wrong and last seen beaten just a nose into second over further here; denied a head first-up last campaign behind Boom And Zoom (runs tonight); form entitles her to win this.
The Aussie NAP won again overnight so we’re chasing a hat-trick now and our attention is drawn to Sapphire Coast on Thursday morning where the consitent RUBAIYA looks set to make the breakthrough. She is a good looking chestnut who has done little wrong in a handful of starts to date. Some of her form from last campaign looks very solid and this is a great opportunity for her to finally make the breakthrough. Heaven Or Hell has only had two starts so from that point of view is unexposed but she does need to improve to give the favourite a race. Probably the main danger but I’m not overly fearful to be honest. Archie’s A Star continues to run well so he should be thereabouts too.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE AUSSIE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) ALSO WON OVERNIGHT AND RUNS AT NORTHAM ON THURSDAY!
Race 4 Northam 7.35 Kick A Goal Son (13/8)
Eye-catching run on debut when beaten a head over track and trip; should be more streetwise now and looks to have been found the right race to go one better; ideally would like to push forward and dominate.
The Aussie NB is eyeing up a quick-fire double after a winner last night and we head to Northam early on Thursday morning where KICK A GOAL SON can go one better. He trialled in preparation for debut last time and went close, denied just a head at the line. He will know more now and with good early pace can get to the front and dictate. I think he has the most potential of these so hopefully he makes the most of a decent opportunity on paper. Scorpion Storms trialled well and also finished second on debut. He has stall 9 to contend with though so while he is a danger that does make life tough especially for a horse so inexperienced.
Autralian Daily Double
The Australian Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Sapphire Coast and Northam on Thursday morning.
