Best Australian Horse Racing bets in Australia on Thursday morning
The Aussie NAP was back to winning ways overnight as Dis Dah Wun scored at Ipswich. We head to Pakenham for our best bet on Thursday. Also racing from Port Macquarie, Wangaratta, Gatton and Bunbury.
Alongside our best bets we have race-by-race bets below the main bets if you want to know what we fancy on the rest of the cards (just scroll right down to the bottom).
NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) WON OVERNIGHT AND RUNS AT PAKENHAM ON THURSDAY!
Race 3 Pakenham 7.30 Hasseltoff (11/10)
Promising type who has some solid form in the book; nose second to Whittington Stone stands out and ran creditably back from 7 months off the track when third last time; fitter now and low draw and step up to this trip all positives.
The Aussie NAP landed overnight as Dis Dah Wun justified cramped odds at Ipswich in the early hours of Wednesday morning. HASSELTOFF deserves to get his head in front now after some really likeable efforts. He has finished behind the right horses and again shaped with promise when third last time. He will be fitter now and looks to have an obvious chance of making the breakthrough. Fan Club made a nice start at Cranbourne finishing third and is entitled to build on that. Looks to be the danger to the selection but I’ll be surprised if he improves enough to beat him. Mighty Feat makes some each way appeal as he got caught wide last time and is better than that.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE AUSSIE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS AT PORT MACQUARIE ON THURSDAY!
Race 5 Port Macquarie 4.40 Married To The Mob (7/4)
Smart individual who was last seen running out an impressive winner at Scone when last sighted back in June; form of that race has worked out well and he’s had three strong trials back this campaign to make sure he’s spot on for this; big chance.
I’ve got to be with MARRIED TO THE MOB here. He has plenty of potential and looked in good form with himself when last seen winning at Scone. He has been trialling nicely ahead of his return and should go close. He has a wide draw but has early speed so I expect him to push forward and either dictate or just track the speed through. Either way he is going to have a major chance here and that’s reflected in the odds. Daltoro is a good looking chestnut who’s going the right way. Definitely one to note and should put up the most resistance to the favourite. Secrets No More is exposed having run 60 races but did win last time so shouldn’t be entirely ruled out if the principals fail to fire.
Autralian Daily Double
The Australian Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Port Macquarie and Pakenham early on Thursday morning.
