NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 6 AT CHURCHILL DOWNS ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT!
Race 6 Churchill Downs 8.36 Credit Enhancement (5/6)
Promising filly who left debut run well behind when tackling dirt for the first time when second at Keeneland last month; entitled to progress from that and looks a leading player if doing so; experience can count for plenty.
The best piece of form on offer looks to be when CREDIT ENHANCEMENT finished second over this trip at Keeneland last month. She can improve on that too so I expect her to be hard to beat here. She wasn’t far away from the pace last time and with so many newcomers it’s probably a good idea to put her experience to use so it wouldn’t surprise me if they were positive on her and tried to make it. In an ideal world she’ll get carried into it off a strong pace but I’m not sure there’s anything good enough in here. The main danger is probably Happygobucky who has a similar profile to the selection. She was third last time but it didn’t look as stronger contest as what the selection contested.

Race 10 Indiana Grand 11.35 Golden Command (10/11)
Consistent filly who was back to her best when beaten just a length over track and trip last time; solid form in the book and this easier so very good chance of getting back to winning ways; should have good pace to aim at.
The NB has been flying Stateside and we head to Indiana on Wednesday night. GOLDEN COMMAND looks a good bet to justify favouritism. She ran a really good race in much stronger company than this last time and if she steps forward from that again she should win this. The obvious danger is Da High Commission who actually finished a place in front of the selection in September but had everything go her way on that occasion. I strongly fancy the favourite to reverse that form off the back of that promising last run. Rainbow Justice would be the other filly who I expect to get involved. She won her first two starts before finishing second last time. This tougher but she is open to improvement as well.
Evening Double
The Evening Double consists of both the NAP & NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Churchill Downs and Indiana Grand on Wednesday night.
