THE NAP (BEST BET) WON YESTERDAY AND RUNS AT LEICESTER ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON!
Leicester 1.58 Midnight River (10/11)
Shaped well in a couple of bumpers last season and made the perfect start over hurdles winning readily at Uttoxeter; big run in defeat at Cheltenham and that horse won again since; looks the one they all have to beat.
The NAP was back to winning ways yesterday as Epatante sprinted home to win the Fighting Fifth. She looks so exciting! We head to Leicester on Sunday as we look to follow up and MIDNIGHT RIVER is a strong fancy to come out on top for Dan and Harry Skelton. He got off the mark over hurdles at the first time of asking before bumping into Does He Know at Cheltenham last month. That horse looks a fine prospect and it was no surprise to see him follow up since. That form sets the standard and he should have too much for this field. Revels Hill is an interesting contender and he might be the one to chase the selection home. Fabrique En France is also worth a second look.

Carlisle 1.50 Happy Diva (10/11)
Likeable mare who was in the process of running a big race when departing 2 out in the Paddy Power Gold Cup earlier this month; this obviously looks much easier so she is the clear form pick; should prove too good.
We head to Carlisle on Sunday for our second best bet of the day and HAPPY DIVA is looking to get back on track for Kerry Lee. She is a classy type and she was running well at Cheltenham last time before falling. She will appreciate these calmer waters and looks to have a great chance of getting herself back in the winners enclosure. Chilli Filli is the obvious danger to the selection. She won well at. Market Rasen on return and while she’ll need more off the back of that she is going the right way so I expect her to make a race of it. Early Morning Rain is a good looking type who outran her odds when second at Uttoxeter last time but this demands more again.
