THE NAP (BEST BET) IS DUE A WINNER AND RUNS AT PLUMPTON ON MONDAY AFTERNOON!
Plumpton 2.05 Smurphy Enki (1/1)
Won his bumper in most impressive fashion coming clear by 18 lengths at Wincanton; seemed to need the experience on hurdles debut at Chepstow, denied just a neck; sure to be more streetwise now and open to improvement so the one to beat.
The NAP had a tough week last week so we’re working hard to get it back on track right now. We head to Plumpton on Monday to start a new week and SMURPHY ENKI is strongly fancied to justify favouritism in the Novices’ Hurdle. His jumping was far from fluent on debut over hurdles at Chepstow and he did well to go as close as he did. He was only denied a neck at the line and with improvement to come he should have too much for these. He looks a nice prospect so should take advantage of the 7lb he receives from Wargrave. The latter is the closest in the betting following his Southwell win but he was suited by how the race developed and will need more to win again I think.

THE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS AT MUSSELBURGH ON MONDAY!
Musselburgh 1.15 Armattiekan (6/4)
Brushed aside rivals impressively to get off the mark over fences here last month; bumped into an improver next time at Sedgefield but quickly back to winning ways at Catterick last time, running on strongly; more to come yet.
The one to beat here is definitely ARMATTIEKAN for Donald McCain. He left Brotherly Company standing to win here last month and while he couldn’t concede the penalty when second at Sedgefield he bumped into a useful type in Cybalko who has won since and was quickly back to winning ways at Catterick last time. He remains open to further improvement over the larger obstacles and is taken to get the better of Galileo Silver. The latter could be a big danger if taking to fences but the selection has plenty of experience to draw upon now and should have too much. It wouldn’t surprise me if the pair dominated this and it turned into a straight shootout.

The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Musselburgh and Plumpton on Monday afternoon.
