NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE US NAP (BEST BET) WON LAST NIGHT AND RUNS AT MAHONING VALLEY ON FRIDAY!
Race 4 Mahoning Valley 7.08 Poznan (1/1)
Smart type who looked really good winning by 3 lengths at Thistledown in October; held his form well since finishing runner-up the last three starts; should track the speed through before getting first run on a few of these.
Hard to oppose POZNAN here as he looks the most likely winner on recent form. He has been running consistently well since winning at Thistledown and can build on his recent second over track and trip to take this out. Mr. Top Fleet and Temple Mount should blaze a trail and he will get a nice position early just tracking them through before pouncing in the straight. He has decent early speed and can finish strongly at this trip. Zeke The Streak finished a couple of places behind the selection last time but it wouldn’t surprise me if he was the one to chase him home here. Eli’s Coming is also a big price but does have a bit to prove on debut for his new yard.

Race 9 Gulfstream 9.36 Risk Management (7/4)
Promising colt who made a really bright start winning by a convincing 3 lengths at Keeneland over this trip in October; sure to improve off the back of that and looks well placed to follow up and remain unbeaten.
We head to Gulfstream tonight for our second best bet Stateside and RISK MANAGEMENT looks the one to beat in the penultimate race on the card. This colt made an exciting start winning on debut showing a nice change of gear to settle it and with usual progression should prove hard to beat here as he looks to make it a perfect 2-2. Whatmakessammyrun won impressively on his first start on turf at Belmont in October and probably improving going down in Stakes company at Aqueduct last month. Definitely the danger off the back of that last run but I do think the favourite has the greater potential and I’ll be hoping he can prove a fair bit better in time.
Evening Double
The Evening Double consists of both the NAP & NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Mahoning Valley and Gulfstream on Friday night.
