NAP – Best selection of the evening

THE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS OVER JUMPS AT AYR ON MONDAY AFTERNOON!

Ayr 12.40 Fancy Foundations (11/10)

Smart type who announced himself as a force to be reckoned with blowing rivals away at Downpatrick; followed that up beating a well regarded sort at Hereford; double penalty but more to come and one to keep firmly on side.

The hat-trick seeking FANCY FOUNDATIONS is a strong fancy at Ayr on Monday afternoon. We were with this horse at Hereford last time and he really impressed me with how he galloped into the lead and kept finding. He came comfortably clear in the closing stages and even under a double penalty he should prove a cut above these. Samurai Cracker wasn’t disgraced at Navan last time and should pose some sort of a threat to the favourite. Even still I think he’ll struggle to overhaul him though as the selection looks to have a really bright future. Portstorm didn’t give his true running at Carlisle and is better than that but needs plenty more if he is to win this.

NB – Second best selection of the day

THE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS ON THE AW AT KEMPTON ON MONDAY NIGHT!

Kempton 7.05 Culture (13/8)

Landed back-to-back wins here including over C&D on final two starts for George Baker and while he is yet to fire for his new trainer he has been running consistently well in defeat and this looks a great opportunity for him.

We head to Kempton for our second best bet of the day on Monday and CULTURE is fancied to justify favouritism for Tom Ward. He likes this C&D having won by a nose in October. He has been knocking on the door this campaign and deserves to get his head back in front now. This is the easiest race he has contested for a while so he should prove hard to beat under Tom Marquand. Central City struck over track and trip on his penultimate start but ran no sort of race last time and has a bit to prove now. If he does bounce back he’ll be the main danger to the selection. Of the rest it wouldn’t surprise me if Renardeau ran better than his price suggests.
