THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 7 AT SUNSHINE COAST ON FRIDAY MORNING!

Race 7 Sunshine Coast 10.45 Avowal (4/5)

Smart type who has won two of his four starts; raced just off the speed over C&D last time before keeping on well to win by a convincing margin; improving as he gains experience and can take another step forward here.

There was a lot to like about the way AVOWAL won last time and if he steps forward again which he should then he will be extremely hard to stop here. He is destined for better things so I expect him to go off a short price in the betting. All To Do has been running to a consistent level and will exploit any weaknesses in the favourites armour. On form he is the one to finish second. Federal Agent chased home Soubrette in fourth here last month and looks best of the rest. Mishani Destroyer is better than what he showed last time and should be fitter now so should run well at a big price. It’s 16/1 bar those mentioned so hard to see anything else getting involved.

Race 7 Morphettville 8.40 Picargo (13/8)

Likeable type who comes here in great form and is hard to fault; denied just a neck over track and trip last time and is still open to improvement; looks the most obvious winner in this field so keep safe.

We head to Morphettville in the early hours of Friday morning for our second best bet of the day Down Under and PICARGO looks the one to be on in Race 7 on the card. He has some good form to his name with two wins from 11 starts and often goes close. He was only denied narrowly last time and this looks easier so I fully expect him to bounce back and get himself back in the winners enclosure. Munster is a live danger as he will be fitter now following an encouraging third last time. Expect him to give the selection a race without being good enough. Ranger Frank did well to win last time so also has to enter the reckoning but again I think the fav will have too much.
