THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 7 AT ASCOT ON WEDNESDAY MORNING!
Race 7 Ascot 10.35 Sentimental Hero (4/5)
Promising sort who justified strong support on debut to make a winning start, doing it impressively despite getting caught wide; only third last time but improving with experience and should get back to winning ways here.
The way SENTIMENTAL HERO won on debut you’d think there is plenty more to come from this promising sort. That Northam win is good form and while he could only finish third last time this looks a good bit of placement to resume winning ways. He is open to plenty of improvement and should prove a cut above these. Brutus Maximus brings last time out winning form to the table and should relish the step up in trip here so has to be feared. Looks the one to give the selection a race. Avalon Bay hasn’t been seen for 6 months so is entitled to need this. Suspectus is also returning from an absence but looks a nice horse in the making so might run into a place.

Race 5 Doomben 5.48 Ruddock (6/4)
Progressive individual who comes here chasing a hat-trick after impressing at Canterbury and then following up at Gosford last time, well on top at the finish; not done improving yet so obvious chance of making it three in a row.
With the NAP scratched last night it was good to get the NB in the bag! We head to Doomben overnight as we look to follow up and hat-trick seeker RUDDOCK should have too much for these. He really impressed last time and has more to come yet given his scope. Fortified made a bright start winning on debut and he has a good draw so he looks the danger to the selection. The favourite has better form though and I fear he might just get too far back to peg the selection back. Still one to note going forward so it will be interesting to see how he runs. Adelase best of the rest and she has been knocking on the door but this looks a good race so she’ll need to bring her best form and then some.

The Australian Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Doomben and Ascot in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
