THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) WON OVERNIGHT AND RUNS AT DOOMBEN ON SATURDAY!
Race 4 Doomben 4.12 Garibaldi (11/8)
Progressive sort who comes here chasing a hat-trick after running on strongly from midfield to win at Eagle Farm last month on a slow track; getting better with racing and looks a leading contender again.
The Aussie NAP was back to winning ways on Friday morning and it was good to see so many of you on. We head to Doomben on Saturday and the hat-trick seeking GARIBALDI should prove tough to beat for Tony Gollan and Michael Roda. He is very much learning on the job and showed a good attitude to win by a nose at Sunshine Coast before impressing at Eagle Farm last time. He has run at this track 3 times finishing second on each occasion and looks ready to turn those into wins now. He has the most appealing profile coming into this for me and I fancy him strongly to get the better of the likes of Good Chat and Getyourgreyon. The latter is probably narrowly preferred as the main danger.

THE AUSSIE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 3 AT RANDWICK!
Race 3 Randwick 2.50 Melik (6/4)
Likeable type who rounded off last campaign with a convincing win at Scone; returning from 8 months off the track but open to improvement and goes well fresh so looks hard to oppose in this field.
We head to Randwick (Kensington) overnight Down Under for our second best bet and MELIK looks well placed to win again for Paul Messara and Louise Day. This 5yo has a progressive look to his form and if he takes another step forward he will be hard to stop here. He goes well fresh and looks to have plenty going for him in a winnable race. The First Of May was a narrow winner at Armidale but showed a good attitude under pressure and is feared most. Like the selection she should have more to offer after just 9 starts. It’s 13/2 bar the rest so I think it’s worth concentrating on the two mentioned but On Time might be value to run into a place. She is also going the right way after just 7 starts.
Autralian Daily Double
The Australian Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Randwick and Doomben in the early hours of Saturday morning.
