CROSSBAR RATTLED OVERNIGHT! It’s been a bit of a frustrating start to February Down Under. Some really good action overnight though so hopefully we can get back on track.

Alongside our best bets we have race-by-race bets below the main bets if you want to know what we fancy on the rest of the cards (just scroll right down to the bottom).

THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 3 AT MORPHETTVILLE ON SATURDAY!

Race 3 Morphettville 3.01 Ididitforlove (11/10)

Really promising sort who has won 3 of his last 4 now and comes here chasing a hat-trick; ran on strongly to win at Sandown last month and hard to oppose again given he remains open to further improvement; one to keep safe.

Granted usual luck in-running it’s hard to get away from the thriving IDIDITFORLOVE here. He looks a horse going places and routed them last time despite given them a lead. He will be finishing powerfully and he is one of my strongest NAP selections I’ve put up for a while. 11/10 looks generous and I expect him to go off odds-on. Sizzlefly is the obvious danger but I can only see her winning if the favourite underperforms. She has won 5 from 16 so has a decent record herself and has knocked on the door the last twice. Shouldn’t be underestimated but just looks to be bumping into one here. Tequila Time is best of the rest as he ran well when second at Murray Bridge last time. This is much tougher.

Race 2 Royal Randwick 2.35 Another One (6/4)

Progressive individual who has won 3 of his last 4 and impressed at this track last time well on top at the line; inside barrier a big plus and looks hard to oppose on recent form; just 5 starts so plenty more to come yet.

We head to Randwick in the early hours of Saturday morning for our second best bet Down Under and ANOTHER ONE looks poised to strike again for Tom Sherry and Gary Colvin. A lot like the NAP he looks a horse going places and I’m keen to keep him on side. He has been kept fresh and has trialled well in the build up to this race and the blinkers can help him step forward again. It’s 9/1 bar the favourite which probably suggests this lacks strength in depth. Hard to pinpoint an exact danger but I can see Depth That Varies running well. He has 3 wins on the board and 6 placed efforts from 15 runs. Form to be bang there so good value for a place given he is about 12/1 in the betting.
