THE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS AT CATTERICK OVER JUMPS ON TUESDAY AFTERNOON!
Catterick 1.15 Jack Valentine (11/10)
Likeable type who improved to make a winning chase debut at Leicester jumping and travelling well before staying on strongly; 6lb rise looks lenient given he won with plenty up his sleeve; hard to oppose.
We head to Catterick on Tuesday afternoon for our best bet and JACK VALENTINE looks to have been found a good opportunity to make it 2-2 over fences. He improved to win on chase debut at Leicester and if he builds on that he’ll be extremely hard to beat here. He won’t mind the likely testing conditions and has plenty in his favour despite a 6lb rise in the weights. The step up in trip is firmly in his favour and he is taken to see off Cybalko. the latter looks the main danger having won 3 of his last 4 over fences and it’s easy to forgive him that blip last time as it came in a Jumpers Bumper race. O’Hanrahan Bridge was expected to run better at Ayr and is also considered but needs to bounce back.

Carlisle 3.35 Demopolis (11/4)
Caught the eye when second at Market Rasen so no surprise to see him build on that and get back to winning ways at Haydock last time; won sole previous start over fences and certainly has the scope to excel in this sphere.
The tricky but talented DEMOPOLIS ran out a very impressive winner on debut over fences at Ludlow this time last year and while he has done well switched back over hurdles since his future surely lies as a chaser. He still has tons of potential and this looks a good opportunity for him to make it 2-2 over fences. He likes to be ridden quietly so expect to see him switched off early before picking them off one by one. Both Pookie Pekan and Well Above Par could push forward so there should be an honest pace on which will help him. Last time out winner Candy Burg looks the main danger. He took advantage of a much-reduced mark to win at Ffos Las and is a threat even with an 11lb rise.
