Wolverhampton 1.15 Heptathlete (11/8)
2-2 for her new yard showing a great attitude to run on strongly and hold on gamely over track and trip on return last month; backed that up despite racing keenly at Lingfield and clearly capable of better yet; hat-trick beckons.
A 4lb rise doesn’t look enough to anchor HEPTATHLETE at Wolverhampton as she bids to land the hat-trick. She showed a willing attitude to prevail over C&D having hit the front 2f out and backed that performance up with a real likeable win at Lingfield last time. She is capable of better yet and a small rise doesn’t look enough to stop her making it 3 in a row. The form of both them wins is working out well and she looks one to keep on side for now as she evades the handicappers grip. Tyche kept on well last time after a slow start and shouldn’t be overlooked. She can run well but does look vulnerable for win purposes. At a bigger price Divine Connection might run better than her odds suggest.

Dundalk 6.00 Star Harbour (11/8)
Sea The Stars colt who is improving with experience and ran his best race to date when third in a good maiden over C&D last time; good chance he is well handicapped off a mark of 75; big chance.
We head to Ireland for our second best bet on Wednesday and STAR HARBOUR should take a bit of beating at Dundalk. He ran well when third over track and trip 12 days ago and moving into handicaps off a mark of 75 I’ll be surprised if he can’t take advantage. This doesn’t look too strong a race so it’s a great opportunity on paper for him to make the breakthrough. He seems to be getting better with each run and caught the eye last time nearest finish. Kadupul hasn’t been seen for 135 days but is well bred and she should be open to further improvement so has to be respected. Barretstown was a place behind the selection last time and has his work cutout to try and reverse those placings.
