NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS ON THE AW AT CHELMSFORD ON SATURDAY NIGHT!
Chelmsford 8.30 Headley George (2/1)
Lightly raced sort who is improving with experience and ran his best race to date when denied just a neck at Lingfield last time; wouldn’t need much more on that to open his account and looks to have leading claims.
It’s a bit of a wait for the NAP on Saturday but hopefully worthwhile as we head under the lights at Chelmsford. HEADLEY GEORGE has the best recent piece of form on offer and with the promise of more to come he gets the vote to finally open his account. He has only actually had 7 starts so remains unexposed and wouldn’t need to improve much on that latest run to go one better. He went down just a neck and with the winner The Warrior holding his own on his next start there’s no reason to doubt the form. Tyler Heard has been booked for the ride and takes off a handy 7lb which could make all the difference. It’s a weak race so hard to pinpoint a danger but it’s probably Zuckerberg.

Lingfield 11.45 Convertible (9/4)
Progressive individual who put in a career best running on strongly to get back to winning ways over C&D last time; Ryan Moore in the saddle again and this horse looks capable of better yet so big chance of following up.
That was quite a competitive race last time but CONVERTIBLE ran on well to quickly settle it and he looks to be improving all the time. He is 4lb higher but is clearly suited by this track and trip and should have every chance of following up. Luna Magic is a likeable mare who was ridden too aggressively last time. She is easily the biggest danger to the selection for me. Central City also brings winning form to the table but is up 3lb and has a wide draw so that complicates matters. Enough Already was a good fourth to Tommy Rock at Kempton but might need a strong pace to be seen to best effect and that isn’t guaranteed here. Ricksen is interesting on handicap debut in terms of a place.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They both run on the AW at Lingfield and Chelmsford on Saturday.
