NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 9 AT GULFSTREAM ON SUNDAY NIGHT!
Race 9 Gulfstream 9.12 Cory Gal (1/1)
Smart mare who has won her last three and 6 of her last 8; impressed when last seen in October last year, driving clear to win by 6 lengths; hard to oppose if returning in the same form and looks the one to beat.
She is returning from a 147-day absence so fitness is taken somewhat on trust but CORY GAL was in terrific form when last seen and she is taken to have too much for these on return. She likes to push forward and lead them along and I think she’ll be hard to catch judging by that last effort where she bossed them before kicking clear. Her main market rival Eve Of War is also back from an absence having not been seen for 211 days. She was highly tried and also looks to have a bright future. Still Alive was denied just a neck when last seen on turf and also enters calculations but she’ll have to improve on that to reel in the favourite so a place may be her best bet. Hard to recommend much else in opposition.

Race 3 Golden Gate Fields 9.51 Joymaker (6/4)
Improving filly who caught the eye when denied just half a length on penultimate start and built on that trying a mile for the first time winning well over a mile here at the start of the month; more to come up in trip again.
I was really impressed with JOYMAKER last time as she closed up strongly from off the pace to win well by 2 lengths at the line. She is clearly on the upgrade and with further improvement to come she should be tough to hold out at Golden Gate tonight. She has enjoy the step up in trip and remains unexposed. Bandon Bridge made a winning start over 5 and a half furlongs here at the start of the month and looks the main danger going up in trip off the back of that. Both Kate Boss and Sandy Sunshine were behind the selection last time and look held on that run. Risen Lady has been running on turf lately but she’s going to need to improve to challenge the favourite.
Evening Double
The Evening Double consists of both the NAP & NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Gulfstream and Golden Gate on Sunday night.
