NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS OVER JUMPS AT FONTWELL ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON!
Fontwell 3.10 McFabulous (11/8)
Classy hurdler who bounced straight back from his Long Distance defeat to win the Relkeel impressively at Kempton last month; form is progressive so looks one to keep firmly on side for now; hard to oppose.
Having won 4 of his last 5 the improving MCFABULOUS looks to have leading claims again. He brushed rivals aside impressively again last month and a similar performance should be good enough to justify favouritism here. Brewin’upastorm was back to his best reverting back over hurdles at Taunton last time but he is going to need more to challenge the favourite. Looks the most likely danger off the back of that but I still have my doubts over him as he isn’t always the most straightforward. It’s hard to see anything else getting involved but it would be good to see Reserve Tank run well back over hurdles after pulling up in the Marsh Novices’ Chase at the Cheltenham Festival.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS OVER IN IRELAND AT NAAS ON SUNDAY!
Naas 3.30 Zoffanien (15/8)
Lightly raced sort who finished a good second in the first-time cheekpieces when chasing home Druid’s Altar over C&D last time; tackles handicap company now and looks to be off a lenient mark; worth chancing.
There is nothing wrong with the recent form of ZOFFANIEN and if he improves again he will be tough to stop here on handicap debut. He was beaten just half a length over track and trip before going a place better when second to Druid’s Altar last time. If he builds on that latest effort into handicap company he will go close again with Hugh Morgan claiming a handy 5lb. Peckham Springs opened his account at Fairyhouse last time and looks the main threat on recent form. Toghari should have more to offer but does just look to be bumping into a couple. Perry Owens was disappointing last time but the drop back in trip should help him and it wouldn’t surprise me to see him run into a place.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They both run over Jumps at Fontwell and Naas on Sunday afternoon.
