Talented mare who comes here chasing a hat-trick after justifying favouritism in good style at Doomben last month; likes to thunder home from off the pace so should have this nicely set up for her again.

The Aussie NAP won well on Friday morning so hopefully we can follow up on Saturday. We head to Gold Coast and the thriving SOCIALISING can make it 8 career wins from 21 starts. She is at the top of her game right now and if they go hard here which is anticipated it will only play into her hands further. She has obvious claims and is hard to pick holes in. Vanna Girl is the danger but we heaven’t seen her for 4 months so while she is largely unexposed she might just need this. Still fancy her to give the selection most to think about. The Candy Man has some decent form in the book but hasn’t fired for a while so is hard to recommend here back from a 5 month absence.

Race 3 Rosehill 2.45 Ingratiating (11/8)

Likeable colt who went down less than a length at Caulfield last time in the Blue Diamond; since kept fresh and will follow the same path he did into the Diamond when backing up in the Slipper; should win.

There was a lot to like about that run from INGRATIATING last time and he only needs to repeat that to get himself back in the winners enclosure here. He should win this before going onto better things. He already has 2 wins on the board from just 5 starts and has plenty more to give yet. He is one I’m keen to keep on side today and going forward so 11/8 looks generous to me. Hilal is improving and shouldn’t be far away. He just might be bumping into one here though so could run well without being good enough. Another one to stick in the tracker with an eye to the future though. Shaquero was hampered last time so that run is best forgiven and he isn’t entirely ruled out either.
