THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 8 AT COFFS HARBOUR EARLY ON MONDAY!
Race 8 Coffs Harbour 7.55 Tawfiq Lass (10/11)
Promising filly who improved from her debut run to make the breakthrough at Kempsey on final start last campaign; big run on return from 5 months off the track denied just a head; more to come now and should go in.
Just the two meetings Down Under to start the week and TAWFIQ LASS is expected to take plenty of beating at Coffs Harbour. This filly is going the right way and given she’ll strip fitter from that comeback run she is taken to make it 2 wins from her last 3 runs. I’m expecting her to be ridden positively and she should get the lead from Shows Pride. The latter looks quite big at 8/1 and I can see them finishing the 1-2. Judder has two wins on the board already and has to be respected. She might need the run though so could be best watched on this occasion. Memphis Squaw has a chance on exposed form but I’ll be surprised if the fav doesn’t improve past her.

THE AUSSIE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 6 AT ECHUCA OVERNIGHT!
Race 6 Echuca 7.00 Surin Beach (15/8)
Useful type who probably should have more than one win to his name but this could set up perfectly for him as he likes to finish strongly; definitely looks winnable so surprised he isn’t shorter in the betting.
Great chance for SURIN BEACH to get his head back in front. He has been running well and I can see him winding up strongly here. Vancouver Lad is the obvious danger as he seems to be progressing nicely after just 6 starts but he might be vulnerable in the closing stages. Windchill has just one win from 18 now and while she will probably place you’d think she is vulnerable for win purposes. Diamond Moments would have a squeak on her very best form but again isn’t running well enough to land a serious blow. Pipe Dreams can do better at some point after just 7 starts but needs to better that last effort at Kilmore where he was carried wide and raced awkwardly.

The Australian Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Echuca and Coffs Harbour in the early hours of Monday morning.
